PREFACE
PHILOSOPHICAL SONNET
by Saint-Germain
"Curious scrutator of all nature,
I have seen gold thick in the depths of the double mercury.
I have seized its substance and surprised its changing.
I explain by that art the soul with the womb of a mother,
Make its home, take it away, and as a kernel
Placed against a grain of wheat, under the humid pollen;
The one plant and the other vine-stock, are the bread and wine.
NOTHING was, God willing, NOTHING became something,
I doubted it, I sought that on which the universe rests,
NOTHING preserves the equilibrium and serves to sustain.
Then, with the weight of praise and of blame.
I weighed the eternal, it called my soul,
I died, I adored, I knew NOTHING more."

TRIANGLE OF LIGHT
Secrets of the Adept’s Life & Code
By Iona Miller, ©2010-2014
The work, of which I have prepared the accompanying transcript, was bought in Amsterdam, about seventy years ago. It consists of forty four manuscript pages, on twenty-four triangular leaves of parchment, measuring nine inches on a side, substantially bound in a hog-skin cover. It has been kept in a plush-lined tin case, so that it is in a state of excellent preservation, and appears as if newly written. On the lid of the case is a figure of a dragon, together with an inscription, greatly defaced, but still distinct enough to be perfectly legible. The cypher consists of twenty-six arbitrary characters. In preparing to transcribe it, I counted the number of times each character was used, substituting a for the one that occurred most frequently, h for the next in frequency, and so on. The words are often run together, but there are numerous breaks, which I have indicated, some of which appear to mark divisions between words, while others may be arbitrary, or intended as blinds. --Pliny Chase, decoder/translator, 1873

Count St. Germain
St. Germain left several clues to his life and works in his legendary TRIANGLE BOOK, which has been locked away from the eyes of the world for centuries. He used keywords for illuminating his arcane and encoded message and disguising his Universal Medicine as the Philosopher’s Stone ~ Zero-Point Medicine. Today, we are gaining awareness of our own field bodies as the basis of energy medicine and the link to Light as our true source.
"The union of spirit and flesh is the 'one thing' spoken of by Hermes Trismegistus, who was also known as Mercurius, in his Emerald Tablet; it is the aqua vitae and quintessence of Alchemy; it is the Qi of Chinese Qigong; it is the Tao of Lao Tzu and Chuang Tzu; it is the Mysterious Female and tenuous Matter of mystic Taoism; in Hinduism it is represented by Ardhanarisvara, who is the union of Shiva and Shakti, of being and non-being; it is the Great Way into Zen stillness, the Mother Luminosity or Rainbow Body of Dzogchen Buddhism, and the enlightened Body of Buddha; it is the Tree of Life, linking Heaven and Earth; it is the transfiguration of the canononical Gospels, and the 'rapture' of Revelation; it is "of movement, and of rest", as declared by Christ in the Gospel of Thomas, and "The Word become flesh", of the Gospel of John; it is the ascension to unity spoken of in the New Age movement, and it is the eternal Om of the Goddess Lakshmi; it is the foundation of the Kabbalah; it is the unified wave structure of the new physics, and dark matter of astrophysics; it is the body electric of Walt Whitman, and the body divine. In short, the union of spirit and flesh is the essential component of all progressive cosmologies, for it is the true Enlightenment."
The Count's keywords take us time travelling back through the dawn of human history and into Primordial Light. We ride on the back of the Winged Dragon to the birth of myths that described cosmological changes and brought incomprehensible catastrophe to our ancestors but led to the rebirth of modern civilization. Discover the common root of the mysteries of qabalah, alchemy, magic, Hermetics, tantra, The Bible, the Tree of Life, immortality, and more.
To unlock the secrets of Saint-Germain, we have to learn to think like an alchemist, think like a Rosicrucian, think like a Qabalist. The main purpose of the hermetic Opus or Great Work is to create a transcendent, miraculous substance which is variously symbolized as the Philosopher's Stone, the Elixir of Life, or the universal medicine (panacea). The procedure is, first, to find the suitable material, the so called prima materia (lead), and then to subject it to a series of operations which will turn it into the Philosopher's Stone (gold). Devoid of the turbulence of mental images, awareness is luminous and vivid with tremendous potential for concentration.
The First Matter is a homogenous unity of Mercury, Sulfur and Salt. It is therefore 'three,' but can also be expressed as 'four' elements, which are again essentially 'one.' In alchemy it is expressed as the axiom of Maria Prophetessa: 'one becomes two, two becomes three, and out of the third comes the One as the fourth.' Plasma is both the fourth and first state of matter (the others being liquid, gas and solid), the biophotonic basis of our existence as living light.
Nature reveals the quintessence of herself through our own deepest nature in the union of body, soul and spirit. As Above; So Below. From the original unity comes duality, from duality comes dynamic process, fate and destiny, and out of that trinity comes the one, this time as the fourth, which is integrity of being, totally in harmony with the Self, in other words, truth of being in the becoming.

The Rose Cross Order teaches that Cagliostro, a student of Saint Germain, was not only the founder of the well-known Egyptian Rite, but a dynamic agent in advancing the Rosicrucian Tradition. He is responsible for the present forms of initiations, and arrangement of Temples and Lodges. He introduced the triangular altar, the Shekinah, in the center of the Rosicrucian Temples, modeling it after the altar described by Count Saint Germain in his work The Holy Trinosophia.
Count Saint Germain had a very precise knowledge of the Rosicrucian wisdom and of the symbolism expressed in the Degrees of study within the Chambers of Instruction, by means of certain symbols, later enriched futher by other adepts. Cagliostro was particularly active in developing what Saint Germain taught him. As a Rosicrucian Initiate of high degree, he put the teaching into practice to make the Rosicrucian technique more effective and better adapted to the times.
Saint-Germain was never a Catholic saint, but the Count was an initiate, alchemist, jeweler, virtuoso musician, composer, healer, international spy, ringleader of secret societies, enlightened visionary, freedom fighter and proponent of U.S. independence, urging on the Founding Fathers in their faltering moments. He worked behind the scenes for universal enlightenment, democratization and a United States of Europe. He carried much of Bacon's New Atlantis agenda and political philosophy of Magical Revolution forward in a rapidly changing world, ratifying the magical current of Roger Bacon, John Dee, Sir Francis Bacon, and himself.
His two recognized works are Trinosophiaand The Triangle Book. The first is an initiation allegory, the second a cipher book of secret hidden treasures of history, magic, and immortality.
"The GOOD, Asklepius, must be a thing that is devoid of all movement and all becoming, and has a motionless activity that is centered in itself; a thing that lacks nothing, and is not assailed by perturbations; a thing that is wholly filled with abundance of all that is desired. Everything that furnishes any sort of supply is called good; but the Good is the one thing which is the source of all things, and supplies all things at all times." ~Hermes
"The Stone overcomes everything to which it is applied, and tinges foreign bodies with it own color...Know that unless you operate upon bodies until they are destroyed and their soul is extracted, with such you will never tinge any body, for nothing tinges which has not iself been tinged." ~The Book of Alze
INITIATION
First and foremost Saint-Germain was an initiate. His occult knowledge came from Hungary, Persia, Egypt, Britain, Italy, France, India, Tibet and the Far East. Having learned initiatory techniques from many ancient cultures, he passed them on in stages to his brothers in secret societies, like Hermes would explain the various stages of attainment.
Shamanic rites arose among hunter-gatherers, while death/rebirth is a motif of agrarian society. It allows a personal encounter with wisdom. Hermetics and Kabbala are means of systematically educating the mindbody and spirit. One becomes rooted in the Self.
The dual principle of initiation is Initiation as Education and Initiation as Liberation. The Fear of Death is our primal motivator and Rebirth is the promise of nature, as resurrection, psychic liberation, or enlightenment is the promise of spirit.
Death and rebirth is a natural cycle and cosmic pattern. The symbolic life leads toward an ecstatic demolition of the ego and liberation of a transcendent, individual nature. But the way is precarious and no certain goals are ever in sight.
What happens when we die is a primal question. How we answer it is our belief paradigm. Mankind has always had the capacity to trance-out or appropriate another mode of being transcending the human condition.
The old self dies in rebirth to an unconditioned mode of being. The initiate creates a new body, a Body of Light, which is a spiritual body that becomes one's vehicle of consciousness. It is the object of the Opus, the refining of the gross material of the body-soul complex.
We can call it Nirvana, Primordial Awareness, or Resurrection or the Philosopher's Stone.

…The outer darkness is a great serpent, the tail of which is in his mouth, and it is outside the whole world, and surroundeth the whole world: in it there are many places of punishment, and it containeth twelve halls – Egyptian Passage (from E. A. Wallis Budge’s Gods of the Egyptians, Vol. 1)
The mythical earth is, in fact, a plane, but this plane is not our "earth" at all, neither our globe, nor a presupposed homocentrical earth. "Earth" is the implied plane through the four points of the year, marked by the equinoxes and solstices, in other words the ecliptic. And this is why this earth is very frequently said to be quadrangular. The four "corners," that is, the zodiacal constellations rising heliacally at both the equinoxes and solstices, parts of the "frame" skambha, are the points which determine an "earth." Every world-age has its own "earth." It is for this very reason that "ends of the world" are said to take place. A new "earth" arises, when another set of zodiacal constellations brought in by the Precession determines the year points. --Hamlet's Mill
"The tradition of the Dragon and the Sun is echoed in every part of the world.…There was a time when the four parts of the world were covered with the temples sacred to the Sun and the Dragon: but the cult is now preserved mostly in China and the Buddhist countries". --Blavatsky, Secret Doctrine
"The Alchemists, who in their own way knew more about the nature of the individuation process than we moderns do, expressed this paradox through the symbol of the oroboros, the snake that eats its own tail. In the age-old image of the uroboros lies the thought of devouring oneself and turning oneself into a circulatory process, for it was clear to the more astute alchemists that the prima materia of the art was man himself. The oroboros is a dramatic symbol for the integration and assimilation of the opposite, i.e. of the shadow. This 'feed-back' process is at the same time a symbol of immortality, since it is said of the oroboros that he slays himself and brings himself to life, fertilizes himself and gives birth to himself. He symbolizes the One, who proceeds from the clash of opposites, and he therefore constitutes the secret of the prima materia which unquestionably stems from man's unconscious ...' -- Jung
Most Adepts in the East follow the ancient traditions of the Dragon, and concentrate on the 'Pearl of Great Price', seeing it as the culmination of change and the attainment, immortality and Eternal Bliss. After the Pearl is created, the Body of Light or 'Diamond Body' becomes active, and the Adept is said to be immortal. The ancient Chinese word for Dragon, literally meant 'rising of the Moon,' referring to this Pearl of Great Price and the Body of Light (Star) of the Immortal. At this point, further progress involves learning about the various states of Immortality beyond Enlightenment. Entrance to Eternity involves the 'Wave of Bliss', the 'Divine Carriage to the Immortal Realms', also referred to as 'Riding the Dragon'. --Nicholas de Vere
ST. GERMAIN HAD A SECRET TREASURE with clues hidden in his TRIANGLE BOOK with the Dragon Emblem. He came from the Dragon lineage. He was a Dragon magus, from an ancient Sythian family which legend says founded both Sumeria and Egypt after the Black Sea flood led to migration.
He pointed toward the ancient wisdom of the Hermetic arts which created the Renaissance. He spoke of treasures still to be found that were lost to the world at the time he was alive. We have now recovered many from the dawn of our written history through archaeology.
Among the treasures he pointed to were the deep history of mankind, the secrets of the heights and depths (heaven and earth; above and below), and the methods of seeking immortality through Medicine Light. We can examine his books, his lineage, his legend, his agenda, his metaphysics, his secret societies, and his legacy for clues. His doctrines are no less interesting than their effects. What he did is likely more important than anything he said. He was a treasure hunter, in the daily world and in his spiritual life, literally and metaphorically.
Among the recovered treasures of mankind, are the oldest known texts including the Enuma Elish or Book of Creation of the Sumerians, and the Epic of Gilgamesh, which were essentially lost to the world beneath the floods and sands of antiquity. In fact, they tell us of the cataclysmic event that led to those disasters nearly 5,000 years ago. Those are treasures of Asia.
The treasure of Egypt was passed down from the Dynastic Pharaohs as the Egyptian Book of the Dead and Pyramid texts. The overall teachings of Khem came to be known as alchemy, codified from oral traditions. The oldest texts of alchemy are preserved in the body of work attributed to Hermes Trismegistus, including the Emerald Tablet. These all point mankind toward the heavens, the Light within and illumination.
Alchemy, from its beginnings, was a means to transform the human soul from its base (lead) state to its Enlightened and eternal state (gold). Alchemy lies at the heart of the world’s three dominant modern religions. The word “Alchemy” is derived from Khem, the name of Egypt, “Al” means “of” so the word means “of Egypt.” It came to mean the wisdom of Egypt. Many of the sayings and methods attributed to Hermetica have been traced hieroglyphic texts that are among the earliest Egyptian writings, others have been traced further back to cuneiform tablets of the Sumerians, dating to 6000-5000bce.
Hermetica is the direct descendant of Sumerian and Egyptian philosophy. Several versions of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes were in secret circulation in scattered Jewish enclaves all over Europe, Asia and Russia. Thus many sacred texts were preserved. Hebrews equated Hermes with Enoch (Sumerian derivative), who received direct teachings from God and was eventually taken up into heaven. St. Germain would have access to such works in the Medici library and his own time in Persia and his own collection. He was inspired by the discoveries of those who preceeded him.
Alchemists and scholars traveled to the city of Florence where their knowledge inspired a cultural flowering under the guidance of the di Medici family. Cosimo di Medici translated the lost works of Plato into Latin in 1438 and sent agents to look for other “lost” works. In 1460, the Thrice Great Hermes was brought back and translated. This heralded the Renaissance (meaning “rebirth”). Greek translations again became available to the West with the invention of the printing press in 1460. They were instrumental in bringing about the modern view of the world. In England, the works of Hermes had a profound effect on Elizabeth I and the circle of learned courtiers that surrounded her. Sir Phillip Sidney, Sir Walter Raleigh, John Donne, Christopher Marlowe, William Shakespeare, George Chapmen, Frances Bacon, Dr. John Dee, and Sir Edward Kelly all studied the Hermetica. Prague the capital of Bohemia, was an enlightened refuge for Hermetic scholars, Aristotelian philosophers, Jewish Kaballists and scientists from every nation, due to the benevolent attitude of Rudolph II.
Greek versions of the Emerald Tablet of Hermes were treasured by the Moslem conquerors and revered as sources used to develop algebra, number theory, architecture and medicine which until recently far surpassed the West.
In the 9th century, the first University was established in Baghdad and was called “the House of Wisdom.” Many pagan works were translated and taught, studied and practiced. Hermetica became the secret inspiration for many unorthodox religious sects such as the Sabaeans, Sufis (who called Hermes “Idris and Enoch.”), Zoroastrians, Gnosticism and various schools of neo-Platonists. The most notable of the Sufis, Al Hallaj was martyred as a heretic, who loudly espoused the Hermetic wisdom “I am the truth,” and “We are all God.”
BOOK OF THOTH
Many call the Tarot the Book of Thoth, but in many ways, St. Germain's Triangle Book hits closer to the descriptions of the allegedly lost or concealed book of Egypt. While Hermes still walked the earth with men, he entrusted to his chosen successors the sacred Book of Thoth.
This work contained the secret processes by which the regeneration of humanity was to be accomplished and also served as the key to his other writings. St. Germain did exactly the same thing. The Triangle Book is his Book of Thoth. This description of the Book of Thoth describes the content and history of The Triangle Book.
According to legend, the Book of Thoth was kept in a golden box in the inner sanctuary of the temple. There was but one key and this was in the possession of the "Master of the Mysteries," the highest initiate of the Hermetic Arcanum. He alone knew what was written in the secret book. The Book of Thoth was lost to the ancient world with the decay of the Mysteries, but its faithful initiates carried it sealed in the sacred casket into another land. The book is still in existence and continues to lead the disciples of this age into the presence of the Immortals. No other information can be given to the world concerning it now, but the apostolic succession from the first hierophant initiated by Hermes himself remains unbroken to this day, and those who are peculiarly fitted to serve the Immortals may discover this priceless document if they will search sincerely and tirelessly for it. Hermes in his Book of Thoth revealed to all mankind the "One Way," and for ages the wise of every nation and every faith have reached immortality by the "Way" established by Hermes in the midst of the darkness for the redemption of humankind.
The Book of Thoth contained the secret processes by which the regeneration of humanity was to be accomplished and also served as the key to his other writings. Nothing definite is known concerning the contents of the Book of Thoth other than that its pages were covered with strange hieroglyphic figures and symbols, which gave to those acquainted with their use unlimited power over the spirits of the air and the subterranean divinities. When certain areas of the brain are stimulated by the secret processes of the Mysteries, the consciousness of man is extended and he is permitted to behold the Immortals and enter into the presence of the superior gods. The Book of Thoth described the method whereby this stimulation was accomplished. In truth, therefore, it was the "Key to Immortality."
The Emerald Tablet of Hermes is the original source of Hermetic Philosophy and Alchemy. According to one legend, the text was originally carved by Hermes on tablets of emerald and placed in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Cheops. True or not, St. Germain likely thought so as he claims it as his source in the Triangle Book.
"Behold the Light of Egypt! " ~ Excerpts from The Emerald Tablet:
"I, Death, come, and yet I remain not, for life eternal exists in the All; only an obstacle, I in the pathway, quick to be conquered by the infinite light. Awaken, O flame that burns ever inward, flame forth and conquer the veil of the night."
Thy bodies are nothing but planets revolving around their central suns. When ye have gained the light of all wisdom, free shall ye be to shine in the ether -- one of the Suns that light outer darkness -- one of the space-born grown into Light. Just as the stars in time lose their brilliance, light passing from them in to the great source, so, O man, the soul passes onward, leaving behind the darkness of night. Formed forth ye, from the primal ether, filled with the brilliance that flows from the source, bound by the ether coalesced around, yet ever it flames until at last it is free.
Lift up your flame from out of the darkness, fly from the night and ye shall be free. Traveled I through the space-time, knowing my soul at last was set free, knowing that now might I pursue wisdom.
Sun of the Great Sun, when ye gain wisdom, truly aware of your kinship with Light. Now, to ye, I give knowledge, freedom to walk in the path I have trod, showing ye truly how by my striving, I trod the path that leads to the stars. Hark ye, O man, and know of thy bondage, know how to free thyself from the toils. Out of the darkness shall ye rise upward, one with the Light and one with the stars. Follow ye ever the path of wisdom. Only by this can ye rise from below.
Ever man's destiny leads him onward into the Curves of Infinity's ALL. Know ye, O man, that all space is ordered. Only by Order are ye One with the ALL. Order and balance are the Law of the Cosmos. Follow and ye shall be One with the ALL. He who would follow the pathway of wisdom, open must be to the flower of life, extending his consciousness out of the darkness, flowing through time and space in the ALL.
Take thou, O THOTH, all of your wisdom. Take all your records, Take all your magic. Go thou forth as a teacher of men. Go thou forth reserving the records until in time LIGHT grows among men. LIGHT shalt thou be all through the ages, hidden yet found by enlightened men. Over all Earth, give WE ye power, free thou to give or take it away. Gather thou now the sons of Atlantis. Take them and flee to the people of the rock caves. Fly to the land of the Children of KHEM.

Emerald Tablet Formless am I to the Light-Soul, formless yet shining with light. Know I the bonds of the darkness must shatter and fall before light. Now give I this wisdom. Free may ye be, O man, living in light and in brightness. Turn not they face from the Light. Thy soul dwells in realms of brightness. Ye are a child of the Light. Turn thy thoughts inward not outward. Find thou the Light-Soul within. Know that thou art the MASTER. All else is brought from within. Grow thou to realms of brightness. Hold thou thy thought on the Light. Know thou art one with the Cosmos, a flame and a Child of the Light. Look to the LIGHT! O my brother. Open and ye shall receive. Press on through the valley of darkness. Overcome the dweller of night. Keep ever thine eyes of the LIGHT-PLANE, and thou shalt be One with the LIGHT. Man is in process of changing to forms that are not of this world. Grows he is time to the formless, a plane on the cycle above. Know ye, ye must become formless before ye are with the LIGHT, Seek ye, O man, to find the great pathway that leads to eternal LIFE as a SUN. Draw ye away from the veil of the darkness. Seek to become a Light in the world. Make of thyself a vessel for Light, a focus for the Sun of this space. Lift thou thine eyes to the Cosmos. Lift thou thine eyes to the Light. Speak in the words of the Dweller, the chant that calls down the Light. Sing thou the song of freedom. Sing thou the song of the Soul. Create the high vibration that will make thee One with the Whole. Blend all thyself with the Cosmos. Grow into ONE with the Light. Be thou a channel of order, a pathway of LAW to the world. Thy LIGHT, O man, is the great LIGHT, shining through the shadow of flesh. Free must thou rise from the darkness before thou art One with the LIGHT. |
Put forth thy effort in gaining LIGHT
on the pathway of Life. Seek to be One with the SUN/state. Seek to be solely the LIGHT. Hold thou thy thought on the Oneness of Light with the body of man. Know that all is Order from Chaos born into light. Light is life, for without the great Light nothing can ever exist. Know ye, that in all formed matter, the heart of Light always exists. Aye, even though bound in the darkness, inherent Light always exists. List ye, O man, to the words of my wisdom, list to the voice of Thoth, the Atlantean. Conquered have I the Law of time-space. Knowledge have I gained of the future of time. Know I that man in his movement through s pace-time shall ever be One with the All Know ye, O man, that all of the future is an open book to him who can read. All effect shall bring forth its causes as all effects grew from the first cause. Know ye the future is not fixed or stable but varies as cause brings forth an effect. Look in the cause thou shalt bring into being, and surely thou shalt see that all is effect. Great is the secret yet easy to master, giving to thee the mastery of time. When upon thee death fast approaches, fear not but know ye are master of Death. Relax thy body, resist not with tension. Place in thy heart the flame of thy Soul. Swiftly then sweep it to the seat of the triangle. Hold for a moment, then move to the goal. This, thy goal, is the place between thine eyebrows, the place where the memory of life must hold sway. Hold thou thy flame here in thy brain-seat until the fingers of Death grasp thy Soul. Then as thou pass through the state of transition, surely the memories of life shall pass, too. Then shalt the past be as one with the present. Then shall the memory of all be retained. Free shalt thou be from all retrogression. The things of the past shall live in today. Now ye assemble, my children, waiting to hear the Secret of Secrets which shall give ye power to unfold the God-man, give ye the way to Eternal life. Plainly shall I speak of the Unveiled Mysteries. No dark sayings shall I give unto thee. Open thine ears now, my children. Hear and obey the words that I give. |
Was St. Germain An Avesa Adept?
ARCANE DRAMA
Is there another dimension, not generally recognized, connected to the continuity of an esoteric spiritual tradition which is designed to help and guide the human race along a trajectory of spiritual evolution? This may incorporate a long term strategy involving various mystery schools and esoteric orders, and their ‘seeding’ specific knowledge into the human consciousness at various stages of its developing awareness.
There is an esoteric tradition which tells of the presence of spiritual adepts who have apparently lived for hundreds, possibly thousands, of years. The feasibility of this is borne out by the apparent extreme longevity of members of the Noachian dynastic lineage.
Whether you believe it or not, it makes a fascinating tale, which may be more than metaphor or hyperbole. After all, modern Chinese Taoists and Tibetan Buddhists make much the same claim for their own ancestors and lineage of tulkus. Some compilations of Tang dynasty stories tell of children possessed by the spirits (shen) of learned men through avesa or spiritual trance. Hermes Trimegistus may be the first face-shifter who claimed this spiritual power.
SOUL MIGRATION
In Hindusism, Avesa Avatars are considered inspirational embodiments, ritual possession, a channeling trance state. Blavatsky says that a true Brahmana is one who has become a dvija (twice-born or initiate) and one "whose seven forefathers have drunk the juice of the moon-plant (Soma),' and who is a 'Trisuparna' ("three-leaved or -winged" or active in the highest three principles).
Theosophy decribes avesa:
Avesa (Sanskrit) (from a-vis, to enter into); Presence, in-soulment; Vesa means dress and avesa means absorption; possessed with divine powers; an entry and penetration by the divine. An entering, entrance, or taking possession of, as in the instance of an obsession; in later times used to denote a fit of anger or demoniacal frenzy. In occult literature used for the temporary occupancy of a human body for specific purposes by an adept, or to refer to an avatara during the presence of the divine influence on earth. Thus it is similar in meaning to the Tibetan tulku.
Avesa, therefore, means the taking possession of, or temporary embodiment in, a body, human or other, by an outside entity or power. A classical instance of the avesa is the story of Sankaracharya who, to gain in that embodiment the human experiences of a life of another character, entered the body of a raja who had just died, requickened it, and for a time pursued his activities in the body of the former king. (Theosophy Dictionary)
To prevent any misunderstanding it should be realized that the overshadowing of a living person by a more spiritually developed individual is not mediumship in the ordinary sense. It is not the occupation of a living body by the supposed spirit of a deceased person, a "control." The temporary overshadowing or inspiration of a chela or even of an ordinary person by an adept is well known in the East, and is often mentioned in Indian literature. It is recorded that the great teacher Sankaracharya exercised this occult power in his sacred work. It is called avesa. (Ryan, 1975)
THE POWER OF AVESA
Some of those so possessed are ignorant, but what happens when a master practitioner enters the body of another of equal or greater caliber? In a deep sense, all spiritual masters are one and avesa incarnation can expess that profound identity, at-onement. The Adept is re-born consciously, at his will and pleasure in a suitable form. This belief alone could have the effect of ritual drama; symbolic, imaginative action urging the mind to develop states of absorption and expansion, drawing on resources beyond oneself.
The Rosicrucians suggest St. Germain had been Sir Francis Bacon, who was reincarnated from mystic Roger Bacon. A 17th century treatise by the Abbé N. de Montfaucon de Villars, entitled Comte de Gabalis contains the following illuminating exposition:
"In the Order of the Philosophers are enrolled the names of many Brothers who have feigned death in one place or who have mysteriously disappeared, only to transplant themselves to another....In the higher degrees of the Order, a Philosopher has power to abandon one physical body no longer suited to his purpose, and to occupy another previously prepared for his use. This transition is called an Avesa, and accounts for the fact that many Masters known to history seemingly never die." (Barry Dunford)
Some occultists believe that Sir Francis Bacon continued his mastership through the 18th century as Comte de St. Germaine. The Count was an international spy, ringleader of secret societies, enlightened visionary and proponent of U.S. freedom, urging on the Founding Fathers in their faltering moments. He was absorbed by the spirit of the mystics who came before him, their Presence possessed him utterly, metaphorically if not literally.
The Count carried much of Bacon's agenda and political philosophy forward in a rapidly changing world, ratifying the magical current of Roger Bacon, John Dee, Sir Francis Bacon, and himself. The least we can say is that they shared a common vision. But that vision was an external reality, as grand as it was. But what of the means to accomplish such lofty goals, and what of the inner man of St. Germain?
INITIATION
First and foremost Saint-Germain was an initiate. His occult, kabbalistic and alchemical knowledge came from Hungary, Germany, Persia, Egypt, Britain, Italy, France, Spain, India, Tibet and the Far East. Having learned initiatory techniques from many ancient cultures, he passed them on in stages to his brothers in secret societies. Like Hermes in the Corpus Hermeticum, he explains the various stages of attainment in his Trinosophia.
Shamanic rites of burial and soul-travel arose among hunter-gatherers, while death/rebirth is a motif of agrarian society.
The initiate creates a new body, a spiritual body as a vehicle of consciousness. It is the object of the Opus, the refining of the gross material of the body-soul complex until it shines like a self-luminous diamond body.
We can call it Nirvana, or Resurrection or the Philosopher's Stone.
TRIANGLE BOOK
St. Germain left a legacy for the wisest of his fellow initiates. This text has a winged Dragon on the front and is triangular in shape, and written in a three-fold code. Therefore, it has been called The Triangle Book. An emphasis on three keys and three principles resonates with the Thrice-Born Hermes-Thoth, presumed source of the teachings, and its three main magical prescriptions, including actualizing the potential of the energy body or biophotonic field body. St. Germain writes: The Holy Magic revealed to Moses discovered within an Egyptian monument and preciously preserved in Asia under the emblem of a winged dragon.
1. To find things lost in the seas since the flooding of the globe.
2.To discover mines and diamonds, gold and silver within the bowels of the earth.
3. To preserve one's health and prolong one's life for a century, as if still fifty.
THE CODE OF ST. GERMAIN
The unusual triangular shape of the book itself implies the Three Principles of alchemy -- Salt, Mercury and Sulpher -- body, soul and spirit. The triangle itself upright is a symbol of fire; reversed of water; and interlaced of the union of opposites.
The triangle form could also suggest a triple meaning for the contents of the book: Alchemy, Qabalism and Hermeticism. It is a recipe not only for experiencing a symbol in one's inner world but for manifesting it in reality, for becoming a living embodiment of Limitless Light. The Avatamsaka Sutra tells us that Buddha (All that is ) has a three-fold body: 1) an aspect of Essence 2) an aspect of potentiality 3) an aspect of manifestation.
The triangle is a 2-dimensional representation of a pyramid -- a virtual resurrection machine. There are 20 triangular faces in an icosahedron, eight in an octahedron, four in a tetahedron, etc. The triangle, or tetrahedron is the geometric basis of all forms.
Precious stones exhibit crystalline structures. The structure of the diamond, face-centered cubic close pack, is related to the tetrahedron and alchemical squaring of the circle, the creation of the Philosopher’s Stone. When the Triangle Book is opened, it makes a 2-d octahedron, the crystaline diamond shape, inherent in the geometry of the Diamond Body or Merkabah om Kabbalah.
The tetrahedron is the most basic shape to be found in the three-dimensional universe of volume. The Merkaba Star Tetrahedron is actually two tetrahedrons interlocked to form a three-dimensional Seal of Solomon, Star of David or Flower of Life, the seed of matter at the root of quantum processes.
The Seal of Solomon is the sought-after symbol for the psyche, i.e., the unifier of above and below, between the archetypal feminine and the archetypal masculine, between matter and spirit. This geometry is central to the qabalistic Tree of Life, and the mystical light meditation of Middle Pillar Exercise. Its potential is fulfilled in the radiant Diamond Body vehicle of consciousness, also called the Merkaba. One who has mastered this light awareness process is a "Dragon." LIGHT ON ST. GERMAIN
The Key to St. Germain is THE EMERALD TABLET OF HERMES TRISMEGISTUS, (called "the whole of magic in one page"), which proclaims the secret of Hermes that LIGHT IS THE KEY. The alchemists taught that the first goal is to find the Philosopher's Stone or the Elixir of Life, the Key to Immortality. Then, the Stone is applied to the lead, or man himself, to change it into gold, or the immortal.
In St. Germain's time, the book was rumored to come from the initiatory chambers of the Great Pyramid. It is the Key to Wisdom, to the Mysteries, to Magic, to Freedom of Space, to Time, to Above & Below, to Prophecy, to Life & Death, and the Secret of Secrets...Immortality. In Egypt, Hermes was known as Thoth, god of writing, science, and the mind.
Thoth is a symbol of the higher mind, the bridge of the gate between heaven and hell, higher and lower nature -- the wisdom way. Among the arts and sciences which Hermes revealed to mankind were medicine, chemistry, law, architecture, astrology, music, rhetoric, Magic, philosophy, geography, mathematics (especially geometry), anatomy, and oratory. The caduceus associated with the healer Hermes corresponds symbolically with the chakras and serpent power of kundalini.
All Hermetic writings are focused on Medicine Light and mystical meditation. The Emerald Tablet says, "all things have been & arose from One by the meditation of One: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation." Their echoes of primordial light and formative sound, the Word, have permeated and resonate in the teachings of all the mystery schools and most of the great religions.
Hermes prescribed primal awareness of ourselves as beings of Light, and that light was medicinal -- our source and refuge. This is still true in Masonry, Rosicrucianism, Sufism, Sant Mat, Tibetan Buddhism, Qabalism, Magick, and a host of other mystic paths. It is "Zero-Point Medicine," by which we can renew and sustain ourselves and realize our potential.
THE LIGHT & THE WORD
Absence can be the most compelling form of presence. When we look inside we find that emptyness is pregant with fullness of the plenum. Potentially healing light emerges from the void. The void can be a painful experience, but embracing that pain we return from the Abyss transformed. Embodied imagination emerges from emptiness. Vast un-originated self-luminous wisdom space is the ground of being. The ancients found it so when they looked within, and it is still our truth.
The Emerald Tablets say:
Thy Light, O man, is the great Light, shining through the shadow of flesh. Free must thou rise from the darkness before thou art One with the Light.
Light is life, for without the great Light nothing can ever exist. Know ye, that in all formed matter, the heart of Light always exists. Aye, even though bound in the darkness, inherent Light always exists.
Ever his destiny shall lead him onward until he is One with the Light. Aye, though his way lies midst the shadows, ever before him glows the Great Light. Dark though the way be yet shall he conquer the shadows that flow around him like night.
Far in the future, I see man as Light-born, free from the darkness that fetters the Soul, living in Light without the bounds of the darkness to cover the Light that is Light of their Soul.
Hear ye the Word that shall fill thee with Life. Hear ye the Word that shall banish the darkness. Hear ye the voice that shall banish the night.
When at the end of thy work appointed, thou may desire to pass from this life, pass to the plane where the Suns of the Morning live and have being as Children of Light. Pass without pain and pass without sorrow into the plane where is eternal Light.
Now I command ye to maintain my secrets, giving only to those ye have tested, so that the pure may not be corrupted, so that the power of Truth may prevail. List ye now to the unveiling of Mystery. List to the symbols of Mystery I give. Make of it a religion for only thus will its essence remain.
Go forth and conquer the element of darkness. Exalt in thy nature thine essence of Light. Calm let thy mind be. At rest be thy body: Conscious only of freedom from flesh. Center thy being on the goal of thy longing. Think over and over that thou wouldst be free. Think of this word—La-Um-I-L-Gan—over and over in thy mind let it sound. Drift with the sound to the place of thy longing. Free from the bondage of flesh by thy will.
Lie ye down in rest of thy body. Calm thy mind so no thought disturbs thee. Pure must ye be in mind and in purpose, else only failure will come unto thee. Vision Amenti as I have told in my Tablets. Long with fullness of heart to be there. Stand before the Lords in thy mind’s eye. Pronounce the words of power I give (mentally); Mekut-El-Shab-El Hale-Sur-Ben-El-Zabrut Zin-Efrim-Quar-El. Relax thy mind and thy body. Then be sure your soul will be called.
Leave thou thy body as I have taught thee. Pass to the barriers of the deep, hidden place. Stand before the gates and their guardians. Command thy entrance by these words: “I am the Light. In me is no darkness. Free am I of the bondage of night. Open thou the way of the Twelve and the One, so I may pass to the realm of wisdom.” When they refuse thee, as surely they will, command them to open by these words of power: “I am the Light. For me are no barriers. Open, I command, by the Secret of Secrets—Edom-El-Ahim-Sabbert-Zur Adom.”
BODY OF LIGHT
The body of light is a spiritual term for the non-physical body associated with enlightenment. It is known by many names in different spiritual traditions, such as "the resurrection body" and "the glorified body" in Christianity, "the most sacred body" (wujud al-aqdas) and "supracelestial body" (jism asli haqiqi) in Sufism, "the diamond body" in Taoism and Vajrayana, "the light body" or "rainbow body" in Tibetan Buddhism, "the body of bliss" in Kriya Yoga, and "the immortal body" (soma athanaton) in Hermeticism.
Enlightenment is not purely psychological; it is psychophysical, including the energy or subtle body. In the course of realizing full human potential, physical changes also occur, most dramatically in the later phases of the enlightenment process. In the final phase, according to various sacred traditions, the body is alchemically changed into light.
Enlightenment becomes literally so, through the transubstantiation of flesh, blood, and bone into an immortal body of light. Through a combination of personal effort and divine grace, a person attains a deathless condition through the alchemical transmutation of his or her ordinary fleshly body. This transubstantiated body is called various names in the traditions, such as light body, solar body, diamond body, or resurrection body. (John White) http://www.wie.org/j21/white.asp
The radiant ground is the fundamental source beyond the boundary layer of quantum foam. Our healing task is to somehow realize this radiant image of the body in earth, to ground this body in its essential nature, which is the source of creativity and healing. It is precisely in the world, in life itself, that we experience compassion, wisdom, enlightenment. It is only our persistent rigid delusions to the contrary that prevents us from realizing it every moment.
Meditation masters speak of an inner Light that pervades the physical and energy bodies, and now science investigates it as biophotons, and through quantum physics we can watch that matter/energy/information devolve back into the unstructured void from which potential emanates.
Mystics have often equated this pervasive Light/Sound with primordial Consciousness and the source of life as well as matter. Quantum bioholography shows the DNA literally produces coherent light, which transduces to sound that directs the formative processes of life. Radiant energy is radiant energy. Whether we look outside into our environment or inside into ourselves we find primordial Light.
Biophotons are weak emissions of light radiated from the cells of all living things. The light is too faint to be seen by the naked eye, but biophotons have been detected and verified using photomultiplier tubes. Light is constantly being absorbed and remitted by DNA molecules within each cell's nucleus, creating a dynamic, coherent web of light. This system could be responsible for chemical reactions within the cells, cellular communication throughout the organism, and the overall regulation of the biological system, including embryonic development into a predetermined form.
Photonic Body is a biohologram projected by coherent light and sound. We arise from and are sustained by field phenomena, waves of biophotonic light and sound, which form our essential nature through acoustic holography This coherent light transduces itself into radio waves (holographic biophoton field), which carry sound as information that decodes the 4-D form as a material object. We also suspect chromosomes transform their genetic-sign laser radiations into broadband genetic-sign radio waves. The polarizations of chromosome laser photons are connected nonlocally and coherently to polarizations of radio waves. Thus, we have an explicit physical analogue for the traditional mystical apprehension of inner Light and the Audible Life Stream.
Sacred Light is generated internally by DMT, the spirit molecule. Meditation evokes pineal DMT release through EM vibrations. Visionary experience with symbolic or religious content gives way to dazzling light of illumination, reported in eastern and western religions.
<>In the Judeo-Christian tradition, it is called "the resurrection body " and "the glorified body." The prophet Isaiah said, "The dead shall live, their bodies shall rise" (Isa. 26:19). St. Paul called it "the celestial body" or "spiritual body " (soma pneumatikon) (I Corinthians 15:40). In Sufism it is called "the most sacred body " (wujud al-aqdas) and "supracelestial body " (jism asli haqiqi). In Taoism, it is called "the diamond body," and those who have attained it are called "the immortals" and "the cloudwalkers." In Tibetan Buddhism it is called "the light body." In Tantrism and some schools of yoga, it is called "the vajra body," "the adamantine body," and "the divine body." In Kriya yoga it is called "the body of bliss." In Vedanta it is called "the superconductive body." In Gnosticism and Neoplatonism, it is called "the radiant body."
In the alchemical tradition, the Emerald Tablet calls it "the Glory of the Whole Universe" and "the golden body." The alchemist Paracelsus called it "the astral body." In the Hermetic Corpus, it is called "the immortal body " (soma athanaton). In some mystery schools, it is called "the solar body." In Rosicrucianism, it is called "the diamond body of the temple of God." In ancient Egypt it was called "the luminous body or being" (ankh).
In Old Persia it was called "the indwelling divine potential" (fravashi or fravarti). In the Mithraic liturgy it was called "the perfect body " (soma teilion). In the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo, it is called "the divine body," composed of supramental substance. In the philosophy of Teilhard de Chardin, it is called "the ultrahuman."
The idea of the “Body of Light” often called the “Rainbow” or “Diamond Body” is the perfection of a vehicle for the exteriorization (projection), and continuation of consciousness beyond material reality. In Qabala, the astral body has access to three levels of consciousness, and then must be shed, or encounter the ‘Second Death” in order to penetrate the Veil, or Paroketh, to the next three levels of the “Thrice Born.”
Zero-Point Medicine The vacuum potential is the Void. But the Void is not devoid. It may appear to be latent in interatomic space, and in our own field bodies, but it is probably active in several states at once in the quantum field. That field is the energetic “void”, or “vacuum,” the space of the “ether,” the subtle but ultrapowerful energy potentially available at zero point.
In meditation we sit and still the mind by shifting power from mind to awareness, persistently and progressively. We reach the stable stillpoint in which the tendencies of body and mind become virtually motionless. All causes of imbalance and disorder are quiet, intentionally, and we rest in the nature of awareness, free of the tendencies of mind and body. We rest in the field of primordial awareness, the fundamental nature of clear light. Psychologically it is equivalent to open space; it is open being. But in contrast to being empty, it is charged with potential.
When we quiet down the activity of the body and mind, we come to the energetic open space of psychological freedom and the human potential. This is the essence of healing, the return to the unconditioned state, free of all conditioning and full of subtle power. Meditation brings us into personal stillpoint, the point of release and reconnection. Practicing this state for health purposes may be called the life-affirming practice of "zero point medicine." (Robert Bruce Newman, 1991)
The potential of zero point energy in one cubic centimeter of the primordial ground is enough energy, converted into mass, to generate more mass than that visible in our most powerful telescope. Physicists are actively working toward harnessing zero point energy potential -- free energy. Meditation teachers see the crucial need, perhaps more than at any other time in history, to realize the unlimited inner space of our own true nature at best, and the healing qualities of self-regulation, at least.
EMPTY AWARENESS
The groundstate of our being is a psionically-charged FIERCE LUMINOSITY emanating from the vast roiling ocean of the creative vacuum – the endless sea of creation. What IS is, and the primal matrix is the eternal shimmering, full vacuum of space -- IS-ness. Light is an excitation of empty space. The absolute vacuum is devoid of all structure, but the false vacuum contains frozen energies as photons, bosons, quarks, electrons and gravity.
Both mysticism and science describe the nature of deep reality in their different vocabularies. They have Nothing in common. Science itself appears somewhat mystical when we realize that we don’t really know the nature of spacetime, gravity, light, electricity, magnetism, energy and mass (and antimatter) or the origin of our universe, but we have sometimes cherished beliefs about how they behave.
In each and every nano-instant, we are reborn at the birthplace of matter, much like a refreshing screen. We are virtual dipoles capable of integrating coherent virtual energy from the vacuum and transducing it into usable EM energy. Electrically, this is called an "open path." This is our field body, or energetic form. All atoms, including those of our bodies, are 99.999% space with an accompanying informational content (holographic blueprint).
In modern life, many are seeking meaning in both a deeper physical and spiritual understanding. The distinction is blurring as our understanding deepens. Mystics of all religions have probed the deep nature of reality for millennia by looking within themselves. They have found many reflections of the universe and the Void within in a mental vacuum state.
There is only one mind. We call it Universal Mind, or the Diamond Matrix. Like the Dirac Sea, it is likened to an ocean of potential. In the perennial philosophy, sacred truth says universal mind permeates everything throughout the whole universe. It is an unobservable infinite energy field – a sparkling, radiant diamond-expanse.
This diamond-like clarity of truth unveiled is perceptible through meditation, wisdom, inspiration, creativity and genius. It is the source of Knowledge, gnosis. There is tremendous spiritual potential in emptyness. There is a correlation, if not identity, between the vacuum within of contemplatives and the vacuum without of science.
In Qabalah, it correlates with The Abyss and the three Veils of Negative Existence – Ain, Ain Soph, and Ain Soph Aur. It is the time-energy pump of manifestation, siphoning negative time from the virtual vacuum. The Abyss is the relative vacuum and the Three Veils of Negative Existence are the absolute vacuum in Qabalah.
Dissolving old forms allows for self-organizing rebirth from one’s depths. Dissolving utterly gives rise to the potential of holistic repatterning. This is the model of the process of dynamic transformation, ego death and re-creation. That which was solid becomes liquified, dissolved, deliteralized. The concrete image of the body and turbulent thoughts “morph” into the flow of pure radiance -- undifferentiated energy potential.
A return to the absolute void is a return to the womb for rebirth after destructuring or creative regression. It means a process of ego dissolution and personality deconstruction, swimming upstream against the flow of the stream of consciousness to our Unborn roots. We reach “escape velocity” beyond our personalistic behaviors, emotions, thoughts, and beliefs about who "we" are.
DIAMOND AWARENESS
In this dynamic model there are no “things”, just energetic events. Light and sound (acoustic cymatics) modulate all matter. This “holoflux” includes the ultimately flowing nature of what is, and all possible forms. All the objects of our world are three-dimensional images formed of standing and moving waves by electromagnetic and nuclear processes. This is the guiding matrix for self-assembly, and manipulating and organizing physical reality. It is how our DNA creates and projects our psychophysical structure.
Our brains mathematically construct ‘concrete’ reality by interpreting frequencies from another dimension. This information realm of meaningful, patterned primary reality transcends time and space. Thus, the brain is an embedded hologram, interpreting a holographic universe. Supernal light emerges from this ground of being, both in the cosmos and our human brains and bodies.
All existence consists of embedded holograms within holograms, fractally embedded waves within waves of clear light. Their interrelatedness somehow gives rise to our existence and sensory images. When we embody this intimate wisdom, our bodies become temples of the living spirit.
Absolute space is the womb of creation and the physics of virtual photon fluctuation reflects not only Nature, but also our nature. Only now are we learning just how literal that experience of Light is, and the interactive mechanisms it engages in our holistic psychophysical Being.
SPARKLING DIAMOND EXPANSE
The meditation model describes direct apprehension of this experience as awareness of ‘Nothing whatsoever,’ total blankness which is utterly open and indescribable, yet recognition of your timeless primal nature. Cutting through mere stillness reveals an undivided, wide-awake, clear and vivid state. One penetrates the true nature of all phenomena.
The scientific and mystical views complement one another. Primordial consciousness is the ultimate groundstate. The ultimate vacuum is also the substrate of consciousness, which can be experienced as a relative mental phenomena during the direct experience of meditative quiescence. The mind disengages from the senses and its own content.
This natural, unencumbered state of mind has an intrinsic radiance and purity. Its radiant potential can be revealed by calming superficial turbulence and making the senses dormant. Only the radiant state of clear consciousness remains. All clarity comes from this luminous substrate shining through normal sensory and mental phenomena.
This state has been described as “an unfluctuating state, in which one experiences bliss like the warmth of a fire, luminosity like the dawn, and nonconceptuality like an ocean unmoved by waves.”
Terms may vary in different spiritual schools but the phenomenology of vivid luminosity remains the same. Biochemically, it is likely related to pineal secretions of the natural psychedelic DMT (dimethyltryptamine). But this hormone alone cannot confer the trained ability to focus and concentrate, which stabilize the realization.
When we look within, this is what we see – the individual stream of consciousness. This relative vacuum experience does not liberate the mind nor is it absolute Reality. Our perceptions and concepts all arise in our consciousness not the objective physical world.
All phenomena emanate from absolute space, including those that constitute our subjective phenomenal experience. Absolute vacuum is only realized by contemplative insight in primordial consciousness. Awareness becomes limitless in scope. All states are permeated by the clear light of primordial awareness.
The open fundamental nature of the mind meets the fundamental nature of the experienced world. This nondual union is called The Great Perfection, or “One Taste.” (Wallace) It is the lowest possible state of activity coupled with the highest potential for freedom possible. It is a boundless wellspring of inspired creativity.
REALIZING OUR ULTIMATE POTENTIAL
Existence of potential being can indirectly be proved by the spontaneous creation of actual being in the quantum physical observation act. We need to and can employ ancient spiritual technologies to heal the species from its destructive tendencies, psychological disturbances, and disease conditions. The disturbances, primarily fear-based, dominate international relations, are the cause of irremediable damage to the living environment and even greater psychological imbalances, causing ever-greater suffering and limitation.
The alchemists, students of consciousness in matter, sought an elixir of life, a “medicine of philosophers”, a cure-all or panacea. What the modern world yearns for is a “meta-syn,” or contemporary visionary synthesis rooted not in a mechanistic model but one using nature’s own forms of self-organization. This unified field theory is the Holy Grail of physics. Medicine Light, unified psychophysical reality, is that proscribed panacea.
Meditation training for children -- our legacy -- is our available method. We can draw from the treasure chest of antiquity, from the unviolated treasury of meditation science, to dispel and prevent psychological disturbance and corresponding diseases with zero point medicine, at this turning point in history. WE ourselves, lightworkers, are the legacy of St. Germain, who dedicated his life to global democratization and illumination as the fulfillment of human potential -- to the Body of Light.
WHAT IS THE PHILOSOPHER' S STONE
Look at the candle flame.
Can the flame exists without the candle stick ?
What use is the candle stick without the flame?
Do you think they are the same thing ?
Do you think that spirit and matter are one ?
Do you think one can exist without the other?
Do you think a breath can exist without the breather ?
What use is a breather without a breath?
What truly exists, the breath or the breather?
Do you think the breather and the breath are one?
Do you know what the spirit is to matter?
Do you know where soul comes in to play?
What is the beautiful aura of light in a darkened
room that is caused by the flame upon a candle stick?
The light would not exist without, the body( candle stick)!
Nor would it without the Fire, nor without the feeding breath!
What is this mystery of the Trinity of Being?
What is this mystery of Body, Soul and Spirit?
What do they mean by a Unity in Trinity and a Trinity in Unity?
Why are there three persons in one God?
Why are they all comprised in the Son of the Sun?
And who is this Son, if not the "Stone" itself.

Great streams of blood are flowing in each town; Sobs only do I hear, and exiles see! On all sides civil discord loudly roars, And uttering cries o all sides virtue flees, As from the assembly votes of death arise. Great God! who can reply to murderous judges? And on what brows august I see the sword descend! What monsters treated as the peers of heroes! Oppressors, oppressed, victors, vanquished...The storm reaches you all in turn, in this common wreck, What crimes what evils, what appalling guilt, Menace the subjects, as the potentates! He possessed a marvelous knowledge of all the countries in Europe at all periods. His memory was absolutely incredible and, curiously enough, he often gave his hearers to understand that he had acquired his learning elsewhere than from books. Many is the time he has told me, with a strange smile, that he was certain he had known Nero, had spoken with Dante, and so on." Like Saint-Germain, Major Fraser had the appearance of a man of between forty and fifty, of middle height and strongly built. The rumor was current that he was the illegitimate son of a Spanish prince. After having been, also like Saint-Germain, a cause of astonishment to Parisian society for a considerable time, he disappeared without leaving a trace. Was it the same Major Fraser who, in 1820, published an account of his journey in the Himalayas, in which he said he had reached Gangotri, the source of the most sacred branch of the Ganges River, and bathed in the source of the Jumna River?

"He called himself Major Fraser", wrote Vandam, "lived alone and never alluded to his family. Moreover he was lavish with money, though the source of his fortune remained a mystery to everyone.
